Experienced Load and Performance Engineer

The position

Do you want to be a key-player in making Cambio COSMIC a “best in class” Electronic Health Records product in terms of scalability, robustness and stability? We are looking for an experienced Load and Performance Engineer who can help us achieve that goal! This position is flexible remote, which means that you can work from our offices or from home!

At Cambio, load and performance responsibility are distributed among different application teams who creates the functional scripts to be executed on our main product COSMIC. As Load and Performance Engineer, you will be a part of Cambio’s platform team who regularly executes load tests. In this team, we both run and analyze load tests which requires close coordination and communication with the functional teams.

A lot of exiting changes are happening to modernize our product such as going from an on prem solution to a SaaS solution. This means the load and stability of the product is more important than ever, and your contribution will be vital for us.

Requirements 

3+ years of experience in load and performance testing of large-scale IT systems
Ability to lead and perform advanced troubleshooting both on server and database side
Experience in different performance analyze tools
Experience in object-oriented programming, preferably Java.
Very good knowledge in relational database performance optimization
Speaks and writes English fluently
Degree in Computer Science or related

It's a bonus if you have

MSSQL experience
Experience with JBoss application servers or similar application servers
Containerization and tools such as Kubernetes and Docker

Place of employment: This position is flexible remote, meaning that you can choose to work from our offices in Stockholm or Linköping, or to work from home. We expect you to be able to travel to Linköping a few times per year.

Scope: Full time 

Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
